THE DESIRE IS GOD

Isaiah and Paul had a perfect desire for God. How they natured their dynamism urshered into the glory of God remain my greatest inspiration. They were two prominent figures in the Bible who had a strong want for God, and their lives provide a model for how humanity can benefit from a similar desire.

Isaiah was a prophet who lived during the eighth century BC in Judah. (Isaiah 6:1-8) he had a powerful encounter with God in the temple, where he saw a vision of the Lord sitting on his throne, high and exalted. He was known for his powerful prophecies about the coming of the Messiah. He had a deep longing for God and a desire to serve Him faithfully. This desire led him to have a close relationship with God and to receive divine revelations that he shared with the people of Israel. Through his devotion to God, Isaiah was able to fulfill his mission as a prophet and make a significant impact on the people of his time.

Similarly, Paul was a Christian apostle who lived in the first century AD: a Pharisee who persecuted Christians before he had a dramatic encounter with Jesus on the road to Damascus (Acts 9:1-22). He also had a strong desire for God and a deep commitment to serving Him. This desire led him to endure many hardships and challenges, including imprisonment and persecution, as he traveled and preached the gospel. Through his dedication to God, Paul was able to make a profound impact on the early Christian church and inspire countless believers throughout history.

So how can humanity benefit from a similar desire for God? First and foremost, a strong desire for God can lead to a closer relationship with Him. When we seek God with all our hearts, we open ourselves up to His presence and His guidance, and we are able to experience His love and grace in a more profound way. This can bring us great comfort and peace, especially in times of difficulty and uncertainty.

A desire for God can also inspire us to live a life of purpose and meaning. When we recognize the greatness and holiness of God, we are motivated to live in a way that honors Him and reflects His character. This can lead us to pursue service to others, seek justice and righteousness, and make a positive impact on the world around us.

The intrinsic, finally, for God can give us hope and confidence in the face of life's challenges. When we trust in God and His promises, we can be assured that He is with us and will guide us through even the toughest of times. This can give us the strength and resilience we need to persevere in the face of adversity and to overcome obstacles that might otherwise seem insurmountable.

Now the premise from these two examples: Isaiah and Paul can definately not be ruled out in our real life situation. By seeking God with all our hearts, we can experience His presence, find meaning and purpose in life, and draw strength and hope from His love and grace. As we strive to follow in their footsteps, may we be inspired to live lives that honor and glorify God in all that we do.

Poem Review- The Second Coming

The poem reflects Yeats’s anxieties about a disintegrating civilization and the emergence of a new, potentially terrifying order. The personea juxtaposes the breakdown of societal cohesion with the ominous arrival of a “second coming,” not of Christ but of a monstrous, ambiguous force. Stanza 1. This stanza paints a vivid picture of a world in disarray. The “widening gyre” refers to Yeats’s concept of historical cycles (or “gyres”), where civilizations rise and fall in a spiral motion.
